Alright so I've noticed a small pimple on my outer labia over the last week. It is indeed just a pimple, I'm not worried about STD's or anything. This afternoon, it popped. A little bit of white-ish looking stuff in it, as a pimple usually has, came out of it, along with quite a bit of blood. Now it's open, and I'm not quite sure what to put on it to keep it from getting infected. I have salycilic acid acne medication, and I put a little of that on there to dry it up. It's not an easy area to bandage, so I'm not sure if I should even try to put a band-aid on it or not. Any suggestions as to how I should keep it clean/what I should put on it?? Sorry this was a bit gross, but thank you so much for your help!!

Next time, try not to pop it, okay? That usually will only spread the bacteria or push it further into the skin. Not good.
But since you already did, I'd avoid acne medication on genitals: genitals are delicate. Instead, I'd just use a topical antibiotic, like neosporin, or even just aloe vera gel. I'd not put a band-aid on it, either.
