I was diagnosed with BV about a month ago and given a 7 day course of Metrogel. It seems to have cleared my infection, but I'm still noticing a smell on my underwear. My discharge, however, has no smell whatsoever. What could be the problem? Could it just be my natural bodily smell that I've become hypersensitive to and aware of? My guess is that it might be a urine or sweat smell. I'm just really concerned about it recurring, so I've become really vigilant as far as odors go.

Sometimes, when you've had an infection with an odor, it can leave that odor pretty strongly on clothes. So, if your underpants haven't gone through a few cycles of washing since then, that's probably what's going on.
By any chance, can you buy a new pair or two and see if you're still smelling that odor when you wear those?
