i can insert my finger just fine and it feels good. i don't think anythings wrong im just wondering if this is normal!?

The inside of the vagina isn't smooth, it has ridges and bumps, so what you both are feeling is likely completely normal. Keep in mind though that if you want to be sure, you can always ask a healthcare provider to double check.
