Okay, not smallpox per se, but weird nonetheless. CDC reports a woman had a small eruptions of lesions on her genitals following sex with a new partner.

Turns out the guy was a soldier who was recently vaccinated against smallpox. There have been cases of close contacts of recently-vaccinated people displaying "minor" symptoms. Read the article for more info. It's just weird.

Oh my god. Freaky. And I can just see that conversation after the diagnosis: "HEY! You gave me smallpox, you jerk!"

I hope the sex was good, at least. [Wink]
