Has anyone else had the new 2 shot TB test recently? We had to get them for school (Education Majors all need them) and I had the first shot - got it checked it was fine. Tuesday I got the second shot - got it checked Friday and it was fine.

This morning when I woke up there was a huge red mark on my arm it starts just above where the injection was and went down to my wrist. I thought I had just banged my arm on something and was getting a black and blue mark - but when I got into the shower the soap burned my arm. Now I have all these red dots like some kind of rash.

I'm allergic to latex and I told the nurse so she didn't use gloves. It looks just like the rashes I get from latex ... but since she didn't wear gloves that can't be it.

The latex may of rubbed onto her hands so it may of rubbed onto you. I would get it checked out by your doctor though to see if it is a rash and not a allergc reaction.

I had mine done a couple of years ago and when i have inections in the same arm, i get a cold arm and my arm has turned blue a couple of times and ive had to e taken to hospital but the TB did puss and yeah probably too much info lol
