I'm assuming when you say that, that this isn't your first yeast infection, and that you've been seen by a doctor for one before, right? Cause if this is your first yeast infection, it's important for you to go see your doctor rather than trying to treat yourself.
At any rate, by the 'pill', I'm assuming you mean the sorta bullet shaped thing that's inserted either with or without an applicator depending on the type of treatment. The pill will basically dissolve inside you. Your body heat changes it from a solid to a sort of paste-consistancy.
