so me and my boyfriend want to try anal sex, but everytime we try to he gets it in but not all the way and then i make him stop because it hurts too badly. we use a lot of lubrication. i don't know why it hurts so much. is there anything we can do or try to make it less painful?

Anal sex tends to be more advanced sexual activity, so if you are just jumping into it without any anal play first, then that may be part of the reason why it hurts. Some basic things: do you want to have anal sex or are you doing this only because your partner wants it? Have you and him tried anal stimulation first to see if it's even something that you would enjoy? Are you taking things very slowly and stopping whenever it hurts, making sure to use plenty of lube?
