Honestly, it never occurred to me until surfing Scarleteen that anybody gave a flying **** what their vaginas looked like!
I've always been aware that my inner labia hang down more than those of porn stars and that is it darker colored, but honestly, I always felt like it was the porn stars whose pussies were odd!
Seriously, why would we care so much about the appearance of a body part that only some people see and that is going to look kind of silly no matter what size, shape, or color it is?

I used to hate that part of my body because it looked like no one elses. And my cousins would always make fun of me when we changed. But I've grown to be comfortable with the "extra" that I have.

Yup, me too. My outer labia is slightly reddish, too, but it's always been as such and I'm told it's normal, (despite a few partner's comments to the contrary!)
But my inner labia hang out a little and look kinda slick and dangly in the shower. I like it. I've been trying to find a post all morning where I can say thusly.

HAHA--I was really scared to go to the gyn (well the np that I see for my paps, but whatev) because I thought that mine was abnormal or something, it wasn't like the ones that had popped up on my computer (thanks to my ex-bf for looking at tons of porn and making vagina's pop up on my screen every five minutes btw) When I told her I was worried about how it looked she told me they were kind of like finger prints and none looked the same. She gave me a mirror-showed me what was what, and told me ones in those stupid pop ups were retouched. That 30 minutes seriously made me 400% more confident in my body, and more in tune with my self--sexually, and just as a Woman.

I like to think of mine as looking like a flower, perhaps an orchid. It makes it seem so exotic and beautiful to think of it that way. Sometimes, though, I like to think of it as an evil venus fly-trap that will devour any unwanted person who comes near.

I, too, love my vulva. It's very pretty. I love it even more since my last major surgery, because I now have a huge scar across my mons. My parter says it looks like a big smile, which is the most awesome thing ever.

I quite like mine when it's being nice to me. I've got eczema right now, and that's not so friendly. I have one inner labia that is much longer than the other, so it looks kind of.. lopsided.. It's unique

I like to think that my Shirley (anybody else name theirs?) looks like a sepia toned Georgia O'Keefe painting! Except.. you know.. more hairy around the edges?
Also, I believe that more pornstars get lyposuction and labiaplasty. Personally, I prefer a little more flesh down there!
