last thursday i went to the gynecologist and had my first annual exam. I am 17, sexually active and have had fairly regular periods since i was about 12. By fairly regular i mean always before or on the 28th day. it was supposed to be here on sunday and is still not here. I have not had unprotected sex, though there was one time when precum might have come in contact. I havent been stressed, i dont know what the deal is. I have taken three pregnancy tests, all negative, the most recent one like 15 minutes ago. I have never had a late period, especially not like this. I am more concerned about pregnancy than health problems. Any advice, answers or suggestions would be soooo helpful.

Stress can delay a period. Are there any major stressors in your life?

Also, just because you've had regular periods before doesn't mean they still won't go AWOL later. They do that. Periods are finicky, trick y things.

If you've had three negative pregnancy tests, It's safe to say you're probably not pregnant. So relax, and call your doctor. She'll be best suited to help you.
