Oh I know I understand about honesty, but the doctor already told my mom she doesn't want to do an exam we are just gonna talk about pills so I guess i'm ok for now!

Unless there are abrasions or something like that which are severe enough for your gyn to be concerned, I doubt they'll ask about fingering. Mine only ever asked me if I was sexually active, not for specifics. They might ask if you use tampons, but that's to give more explanation about the devices they use.

Also, if you find you're no longer comfortable for your mother to be in the room with you, I wouldn't imagine it a problem for you to ask her to wait out in the waiting rom or something. Especially if you explain why.

I see you shiver with antici......pation

It is VERY imprtant you're honest with your gynecologist.

For instance, NOT being honest about manual or oral sex will likely mean you don't get the STI screens which you need. So, even if they don't ask, you need to be forthcoming.

There's just no use in half-assed sexual healthcare, ultimately. So, if you can't be honest with Mom there, let her know you'd prefer she wait outside. To be perfectly honest, mmany GYNs are likely to want to give you your exam alone anyhow, as being on the table with your legs open for a doctor and a nurse tends to feel so little private for people already, having even more people in the office can be overkill that makes giving you a painless exam a challenge.

hey luckyduck - in the future, please don't edit your original post so we can't se what the question is anymore. it confuses readers (such as myself) and makes it so if someone does a search on the topic, your question won't come up. so please, leave your question out to be shared - that's what these boards are for!

Boys and girls in America have such a sad time together; sophistication demands that they submit to sex immediately without proper preliminary talk. Not courting talk - real straight talk about souls - for life is holy and every moment is precious. I heard the Denver and Rio Grande locamotive howling off in the mountains. I wanted to pursue my star further. -Kerouac
