hi there not posted on ST for a while as i've been round the world (not showing off, hehe). but i have a couple of things i want to discuss... now, i'm very pro-my body, i love it, it's beautiful, and i don't want to do anything to change it except get a bit fitter.and my only real problem is this: i'm 19, and on my shoulder blades i have what look like varicose veins, or burst blood vessels, i think some people call them spider veins. i'm really conscious of them, i'll still wear back bearing tops but not with the willingness i did before i noticed the little veins. i also recently noticed a couple of the same sort of purply, varicose-vein looking veins on my thigh. i try very hard not to cross my legs, so as to prevent varicos veins, and i'm almost certain you're not supposed to have burst blood vessels at nineteen! although this may sound trivial it's causing me some distress. i also realise there's nothing short of surgery that gets rid of funny veins like these - or is there? if anyone's got the same thing and has any advice, short of getting surgery, which i can't afford, and better than covering up with powder, i'd love to hear it.
thanks people -ruthi xx

I have spider veins on my shoulders and les. I don't really care about them. But if it bothers you, laser surgery is the permanent way to go, or you can try to cover it with pancake makeup.
