Attention Scarleteen Readers 18+ and eligible to vote in the US: Election Day is Tuesday, November 6. If it is an election year for your jurisdiction, please head out to the polls on Tuesday to cast your ballot. It's a quick-and-easy way to make a difference, as well as a right and responsibility of being a citizen. The right to choose and access to accurate, inclusive sex education are two major issues that Scarleteen is all about.

A U.S. citizen but not 18 yet? Not registered to vote? Ready to vote but not sure who's running or where they stand? Check out Project Vote Smart, a non-profit, non-partisan research organization that aims to inform citizens.

Election Day 2007 means the next federal election is just a year away. The whole world is watching to see which candidates will be nominated for President. There's no better time than now to start becoming informed and active!
