Hey,

I am very worried at the moment. So I dated a guy three times. On all occasions we sticked to blowjobs and fingering. Last encounter was 13 days ago and I was supposed to get my period sometime this week. I haven't gotten it yet. I did 2 blood tests. One on the 1st September that is 15 days and 12 days respectively after the first two dates (first date was on the 17th August, second one on the 20th August). It came back negative. Then I took another blood test 10 days (on the 5th September) after last and third encounter (which took place on the 26th August). It came back negative as well. After the third encounter I took the morning after pill (EllaOne) to play safe (I took it on the 29th August that is 2 days and a half after last encounter i.e. 65hours afterwards). Last week (31 st August) I did an ultrasound and the gynaecologist told me my period is on the way. But still a week after I haven't gotten it yet. Yesterday I did another blood test (I'm still waiting for the result) and a intra-vaginal ultrasound. The radiologist told me that uterine lining is not thick enough to sustain a pregnancy and there was no corpus luteum detected on the ultrasound. So strictly speaking I can't be pregnant. I was previously on the combination pill for the past 3 months (from April till beginning of August until I got the withdrawal bleeding on the 7th August). I went off the pill after the withdrawal bleeding. I'm lost now, I wonder why I didn't get my period. I'm very worried and scared.

We will not answer ANY questions about pregnancy fear or anxiety in our direct services from users who are not pregnant or who are not or have not otherwise been directly involved with an actual pregnancy.

Please do not post this kind of question. If you are seeing this text, and your thread is locked, it is because you have posted this kind of question.

We CAN and WILL talk about things like:
• choosing and using a method or methods of contraception for any future sexual activity
• creating your own sexual limits and boundaries based on your needs and/or presenting them to any partners
• making sexual choices that suit your own needs, abilities and limitations, including your own readiness for certain possible risks
• help locating or using emergency contraception if and when you have had a pregnancy risk
• discussing options with a real, existing pregnancy, and help finding and accessing those options, such as abortion services and pre-natal care, or discussing feelings or concerns about a past pregnancy
• help with anxiety like locating mental health services, sound self-help or asking for support from friends or family

You mentioned stopping birth control and a missed period. We've made a new thread to talk about that with you here: http://www.scarleteen.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6452
