They are little squishy balls - imagine like a cross between a bouncy ball and a stress ball - on a strap. You put the ball in your mouth, then the strap connects at the back. The strap keeps it from falling out, or from falling back into your throat and choking you. When the ball is in your mouth, it should fit between your teeth so you can bite down on it. They are usually enough to "fill" your mouth without stretching or over-extending your jaw. When you have a ball gag in, you can't talk, and loud noises are muffled. Many people find them fun to wear or have their partners wear. There are a few different types, but they are all relatively simple and work this way - the best way to get a feel for what they are and how they work, try doing an image search on tumblr for "ball gag" or "ballgag" (I say tumblr because it is a platform with a lot of high quality porn images).

to put my two cents in I 100% understand this policy for legal reasons but realistically most minors here have already stumbled upon adult content that they aren't necessarily supposed to see
