How do you express intimacy?

So, a little while ago we published this article on intimacy:

Taking what that article says about intimacy and all the ways it can be expressed, what does intimacy mean to you? How do you express it to the people you're close to? Do you find that the way you express it changes depending on the type of relationship (e.g we might show intimacy with our friends in one way and with our family in another)?
