What can you do to make sure that she does remember? Maybe you can book it together, so you know when it is and then can make a plan together for how you're going to get to it?

Can you be more specific? Is it
- that she won't agree to making the appointment?
- that she won't tell you when the appointment is if she makes one?
- that she won't make a plan to get to the appointment?
- that she won't stick to the plan if you make it?

If she is blocking you from doing this with her help, then we can make a plan for doing it without her involvement, but I need a bit more input from you to do so - ok?

It's that she might not agree to set up the appointment and also get me there in time for the appointment.

It sounds like you don't feel like your mom is taking your health concerns seriously, and that sounds pretty frustrating. At this point, though, I think it's a good idea to go ahead and try talking with her about this; you really can't know what she might say until you ask.
We have an article that talks about ways to handle medical appointments yourself, which you can read here: Dealing With Doctors: Taking Control of Your Health Care Destiny It still requires you finding a way to get yourself to the doctor, but this article might have some ideas to help you advocate for yourself & your health with your mom if she's reluctant to make this appointment for you.
