Why is did my cycle come early?

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone could help me understand why I got my period early.On November 29 I had intercourse with my boyfriend and on December 4 I got my cycle , it lasted 7 days. On January 8 I had intercourse with my boyfriend again and the condom broke but he did not ejaculated in me. But on January 16 I started my cycles again. What could be causing me to have early cycles?

Also I am not on any medications or birth control and I do track my cycles.

We can't really say what caused your period to come earlier this month, but it's quite common to have a period that arrives a few days later or earlier than expected, so this is unlikely to be cause for concern.

Since there was an issue with the condom breaking, I want to check: are you and your partner up to date on your STI tests? And how are you feeling about using condoms as your only method of birth control? Are you pretty comfortable with it?

Yes, we just got tested for the new year. I feel it’s a good thing we use condoms since I am not on birth control. I would rather use condoms instead of taking or inserting something inside of my body for birth control.
