Sexual Assualt

Unread post by _Kaden_ »

I have a friend who's dealing with a lot of depression. Recently they've realised the biggest factor in what's been making them so depressed. Their dad has been sexually assaulting them but because he's family they had written it off. Their family members know about this but haven't done anything to stop it and have even been keeping it quite. I want to be able to help my friend but they live in another state. I don't know what to do. I can't just sit around and do nothing if their dad is putting his hands on them.

It's very hard to be in this position.

Often the best thing you can do is to try and help a friend find resources of people and services who CAN help them. Can you share the zip code they're in with us? We can probably help you make a short list of resources they can get connected to for help.
