Period

Unread post by Corrie199689 »

Hi,

My periods due today/tomorrow
About two hours ago I went to the bathroom and had a bowel movement and there was blood from my vagina, I thought this was my period starting but now nothing

Should I be worried?

For me, it's pretty to have some blood the day before my period. I think it's called spotting. my friends who start around the same time as me also get this so I'm pretty sure it's normal and you have nothing to worry about. :)

Corrie, it's true that many people experience some spotting as their period's beginning, or right before it begins; it's a totally normal thing to notice, even if you haven't noticed it before.

Aaron, I appreciate you wanting to help! But this section of the boards is specifically for staff replies only. :)

Just worried a bit because I've never had this before but there seems to be a bit more today (this would be the same day my period started last month, I'm on the combination pill)

I therefore shouldn't worry about implantation bleeding and just wait for my period to come on fully because the blood yesterday was bright red and there was a blood clot today when I went to the bathroom?

Just in case anyone else has had this problem, my period eventually did come on just a few days late, guessing it was probably the pill messing with my cycle again :)

Thanks for the update Corrie! I'm glad you feel ok about things now.
