Period concerns

Unread post by Karyn »

Hi Anonymous77, you mentioned in your other post that your period has gone from being irregular to regular and now slightly irregular again. Sex all by itself doesn't change your period (unless you become pregnant in which case you won't have a period) but bodies are not always predictable, and periods usually change over time. It can also take a few years after you first get a period before your body settles into any kind of pattern. On top of that, it isn't unusual to have an occasional late period, or a few months of irregularity: a whole bunch of things other than pregnancy can cause this. You can read more about that here: M.I.A or, Dude, Where's My Period?

I also want to ask if you want some help figuring out how you might be able to access birth control? (No judgement here, but it sounds like the possibility of pregnancy is stressing you out, which isn't fun at all!)
