Bleeding

Unread post by dv2799 »

The past few times I've had sex,I bled a bit during and was sore afterwards. It slowed down after a day or so and it's never a lot of blood, never has it been dark in color but it's noticeable. Why? I've been tested for STI's and every result was negative and my period wasn't due around the times I had sex. I didn't even bleed when I lost my virginity. Help!!

Hi dv2799,

Good on your for eliminating STIs as a cause. When sex results in soreness or bleeding, it's often due to either not enough lubrication being present or to you being tense/not quite aroused enough. This article covers a few other reasons, and gives some ways to address them. From OW! to WOW! Demystifying Painful Intercourse Does anything in it seem applicable to you?
