pregnancy testing!

It's been 3 weeks since my sexual activity. I took the clear blue pregnancy digital tester and it came out as negative. I was wondering how accurate a pregnancy test would be after only 3 weeks? I'll be taking another in 2 weeks.. My period is irregular so I don't exactly know when to take the test because it says it's more accurate when you're close to your period but since I don't know.. I just took it anyway.

A test tells you, in its instructions, when to take it per when its results can be accurate. If you followed the directions, you're all good. If you did not, you need to do that.

It says if you're irregular you can use it 19 days after. hope it's accurate. Thanks guys
