We suggest journaling for some of you when struggling in certain ways.
It's occurred to me that we could open a space here on the boards to journal in, and make it something that only other people also journaling there (and our staff) could see. We could also set it up so we had a simple shared shorthand for if a person wanted replies on an entry or not, so you could also use it as a source of support.
Is that something any of you would like me to follow through with?

Yes! I could've used something like that during my pregnancy scare! Great way to let out fears and emotions.

Okay! All of you who posted here should have received an email about being added to the "Journalists" group.
That will let you into this forum --
http://www.scarleteen.com/bb/viewforum.php?f=27 -- so you can get journaling! I've put up some basic info, protocols and asks for you to get started with.
Anyone else seeing this thread who also wants in, just leave a post asking to be added to the group, and I'll get you added. Just understand that you only should ask if you intend to create and keep a journal there. This is not for read-onlies, only for those journaling themselves.

Then you will want to make sure your email listed for your account is your current, and also check your spam folders.
But even without it, if you just click through that link up there, it should work for you. The email is just a notification you have been given those permissions.

Yeah, my current email id is associated with this account. And I did click on the link, it said I wasn't authorized to read that forum.

Thank you so much Heather! It seems I am having a bit of the same problem. I checked my email associated with my account but haven't received anything yet and the link on this thread won't let me on. Thanks for setting something like this up!

Could one of you try again to access that forum, please? I just fiddled with a few things, hoping it will work for you now.

I know I may be new, but I would like others to read my thoughts and put forth their own input.

I'd love to be added if possible...I know that I should try journaling, but some issues mean that I'm not comfy writing things down in a physical space.

Heather,
I would love that much like everyone else on here! If you could add me, that would be fabulous! I think this is a really great idea on behalf of Scarleteen by the way!
