Hello,
I believe I have gender dysphoria because I really hate my body, I'm uncomfortable with my genitals, and I hate having long hair. I also get this thing that I call "Phantom Penis" where it feel like I have a penis and testicles but I actually don't and it makes me feel happy when it happens but then it goes away Is this normal?
Also if this question isn't allowed you can take it down, I was just wondering ;n;
That's a totally fine thing to post about! I think having a 'feeling' about how our genitals might be but currently aren't, is quite common for trans people, and anyone experiencing dysphoric feelings around their gender.
Have you read much about being trans or how it might make sense for you?

Hi Jacob,
I actually researched some stuff about it, most transitional things like hormone therapy and the surgeries, and I've been building up supports around me in my community, but I haven't reallllly looked into other than that from what I've known, is that your sex doesn't match your gender. One of my supports have actually recommended this site n.n so I checked it out and right now Im reading through the Trans summer school n.n It actually is very enlightening! and it matches a lot to what I feel! I've already came out to my family and some friends and now im seeing specialists in this area, which hopefully can prove to my parents that it's not a "phase".
Oh great! How are you finding trans summer school?
I hope it helps you explain things to your parents. Of course even if they don't fully get it right away, that is something that can improve over time. I'm glad you have had people supporting you and who you have been able to talk about it!

I like like it so far n.n it was really helpful n.n I'm still reading through it, and hoping that my parents come along n.n I feel like they are starting to though, which is really awesome! buttttttt they still have a long way to go but they are slowly but surely getting there xD
Can I ask what 'n.n' is? I haven't been able to work it out!
