Hi jocelyn. I want to start of by saying that consent is about everyone saying yes, not the absence of a no. In this article , which I'll note is targeted at guys, there is a lot of valuable information about consent. Doing things, like putting his hands down your pants without consent, physically f...

I’ll start. For me, it’s the very first bit of Scarleteen that I ever came into contact with Bi the Dozen: A Bisexuality Quiz . When I came to Scarleteen, I was really terrified and ashamed of my own bisexuality. This article flipped a switch for me. I began to realise that I didn’t have to be asham...

Hi Jess, It looks like you've got three related questions which I'll write out and answer below: 1) Are the times I took my pill considered late, or are they within the time window? From our Combined Oral Contraceptives (The Pill) page: With combined pills, you have a 12-hour grace period before a p...

Hi Elenor, and welcome to the boards. From what you've said, it sounds like Lucy was repeatedly failing to check in with you about the attention she gave you. It was Lucy's responsibility to seek out your consent for her acting lovey-lovey, it wasn't your responsibility to stop her. Not feeling &quo...

Hey mcgintysquire, When you say: even though I do want to do this stuff, I should probably wait, just for myself, because my religion is still important to me. That sounds pretty clearly to me like you've figured out what you want to do, or rather not do. Have I got that right? Do you know exactly w...

Hey bitheway, it's actually great that you brought this thread back!
And I love that quote from the author. Too often stories end in tragedy when in truth, we could pen the happy endings we seek just as easily. I'm adding Maurice to my to-be-read list.

But even for perfect use, there will be no 100% guarantee of pregnancy. Is that mean even in perfect use people will still get pregnant in 1 year of usage? Yes, that's exactly what that means. However some methods, such as the IUD, can be as effective as 99.9% in perfect use and 99.2% in typical us...

Hi Wonga, when a condom gets a rip, tear, or hole, it is very noticeable, just like it is obvious when this happens to a balloon. The typical effectiveness rate for condoms plus withdrawal is 96.2%. This means that for people using these two methods over a year, less than 4 out of 100 will become pr...

Hi KuroKat, welcome to the message boards. To be a little bit blunt, knowing my opinion, or anyone else's for that matter, about hentai and porn more generally, probably isn't going to help you. I went on the combined pill because it was all that I could get my hands on (and figure out how to say in another language). It was o...

Hi bubblybumblebee, when it comes to storage temperatures of medications, such as birth control pills, the best thing to do is to ask your pharmacist or the doctor who prescribed the medication, or to consult the literature that came with it.

When you say "does this mean something" can you tell me a bit of what you mean by that?
Certainly, urinating can push anything that is in the urethra out. There is, however, no way to know whether or not that was precum.
Is there a particular direction you'd like to take this conversation?

You seem to be having very conflicted feelings about masturbation. It might be easier if we work together to try and figure out why you don't enjoy the concept of masturbation, but also feel out of control. Are there any negative experiences or attitudes in the people around you that could have infl...
