Re: Gender weirdness

Thanks everyone! I think this feeling is probably because I'm genderqueer

Re: Name/Sex/Gender Yourself!

Name: Charlotte, maybe Asher (I'm still thinking about that)
Sex: I'm cool with the AFAB related parts, but I wish I didn't get my period and I didn't have breasts.
Gender: Genderqueer!

Gay, but thinks some boys are cute

So, I'm quite sure I'm gay. I find girls attractive and I want to date them. But sometimes, I see boys and think they're really cute. But I don't want to date them. So am I still gay?

I think for me crying and being emotional. Like, I get upset a lot, so if I were a boy surrounded by stereotyping people, I would not be able to handle it.

Re: What is your "Coming Out" Story?

I'm still not completely out, but...
I first starting coming out by just texting people I'm gay and leaving at it that. Then, I moved into hey I'm gay, hope that's okay. I've only outwardly said I'm gay to one person, and I've said I've got a crush on a girl to a few people. Pretty boring.

Re: Gay characters without crushes

Yeah, you're absolutely right that gay characters don't need crushes or girlfriends/boyfriends to be gay, but sometimes it does seem like writers are just doing it so they can be applauded for LGBT content.

Grrrl

So you know how some people call themselves boi? I was reading something about using grrrl as in riot grrrl as a gender identifier thingy and I think that would be really cool. Like hi, I'm a grrrl!

Gay characters without crushes

So, I don't have any examples, but it seems like some gay characters aren't really gay, like they're gay but they don't have boyfriends/girlfriends, they don't have crushes and they don't talk about attractive people. I don't know. But in the Perks of Being a Wallflower, Patrick is gay, and he has a...

Re: Experiences with Counseling/Therapy

Last year, my sister and I were able to go to a therapist because of my mom's insurance benefits. My sister went to about tenish and I went to one. We had to stop because her benefits changed, but I enjoyed it. The therapist was really helpful, and I was really able to open up to them. Plus, at the ...

Abortion

It's interesting how to some people, an unborn fetus is alive and deserves all the rights people have, but the second the baby is born and isn't white, or isn't cis, or isn't straight, they don't deserve those rights.

I don't have any experience with this, but I think if someone's going to be upset if you came out as pan/sexually fluid, they might not be the best person to go out with.

Class

The new Doctor Who spinoff, Class, is awesome. There aren't any straight white guys in the main cast, and the main character is gay and has a boyfriend. But, he didn't need to make a big deal out of it! He was just like I'm gonna ask this boy to prom. LGBTQ kids and teens need people like them on TV.

It hasn't finished, so I don't know if it will end in tragedy, but the doctor who spinoff Class has a gay main character with a boyfriend, and they're really cute. Awesome show

It started fairly recently, I think. We fight a lot, and most of the time it's pretty silly and we don't mean anything, but sometimes we actually fight. I think since we just became teenagers, that could be a factor

My twin sister and I have always been best friends, but we've been fighting a lot. She has a quick temper, and I just seem to annoy her a lot. I'm just not sure how to go about repairing our relationship.

How to figure out your gender

I've been questioning my gender, and I'm unsure how to go about it. When I was questioning my sexuality earlier this year, I just thought about who I like. It was a pretty easy process for me. But I don't know how to go about figuring out my gender.

What's wrong with mainstream media

I think there is a lot wrong with mainstream media. It basically tells girls all they should want in life is a monogamous relationship with a guy they met in high school, who they will marry and have babies with. If that's what you want, awesome, but it's teaching girls who don't want that that ther...
