i have been having sex with my gf for a little while now. we have had sex through touching and dry humping. but we always get to intercouse but i can't enter. i don't wanna push and hurt her. we are gonna you some lube next time. will her vagina get used to me over time?
Vaginas don't just 'get used to' intercouse. They're not static. The vagina self lubricates and muscles relax to allow for/ease penetration, but this is something that has to happen every time for intercourse to be comfortable and enjoyable.
Additional lubrication is SO important. You need to get some good lube (we like Astroglide!) and use it. Foreplay is important too. An orgasm (manual sex, oral sex, etc) for her first may ease penetration.
Is she having any reservations about intercourse? If you two have not discussed this thoroughly, you need to. If she's tense or worried about it, it's just not going to happen (or it will be very uncomfortable for her if it does). We have a checklist, which I will link to at the bottom, that you two should go over together. And if either of you have ANY doubts about going forward with this, you need to not do it. You can't take it back once it's done, and it's not going anywhere; sex will always be there, and it'll be better when you're ready for it.
Some things to think about ... Pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. What will you be using for birth control? Have you both been tested for sexually transmitted infections? These are things you need to think about and discuss BEFORE any sexual activity. These are things that may be weighing on your partners mind and making intercourse difficult.
