I'm thinking that Baltimore, Kansas City, and even San Francisco have a better chance of making it into the World Series than you do of being pregnant. But as Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over till it's over," so I'm not making any promises.

While it's by no means impossible to get pregnant while you are having your period, it's not exactly a woman's most fertile time. And it's not like he left a big pool of semen inside the part of you that he dreams about morning, noon and night. So that's why I'm thinking the chances of pregnancy from the situation you describe are pretty low.

By the way, the kind of "intercourse" or outer-course you are describing is called femoral intercourse, where the penis rides between the lips of the vulva like a hot dog in a bun--going parallel to the labia instead of straight into your vagina. And if you are already having intercourse, I'm not so sure why you are avoiding it during your period. For some couples, it's the most enjoyable time. If you are worried about the sheets, put a towel down under you, and if you do leave a stain that for some reason won't wash out, you might try hitting it with some hydrogen peroxide.
